Training
I am a Clinical Instructor of Psychology in Psychiatry on the voluntary faculty of
the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. I received my Ph.D. in
Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research. I trained at
Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, The

Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, NY. I have received specialized
training at The Personality Disorders Institute, and I am currently supervising
therapists in a nationwide research study investigating family therapies for
eating disorders.
About My Practice
The approach I take with any given client is based on their immediate needs and their goals for
treatment, and may include a combination of insight-oriented and goal-directed interventions.
My approach is based in psychodynamic conceptualization and treatment of a wide range of
psychiatric disorders. I also utilize a variety of cognitive and behavioral techniques to help
individuals, couples, and families experience rapid symptom relief.
I have specialized training in:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Transference Focused Psychotherapy
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy
